Meeting in person
Meet in a public place with people around — a café, a shopping centre or an official pickup point. Never share your home address to arrange a meet-up.
Bring a friend if the item is valuable, and inspect the item fully before handing yours over.

Keep conversations, offers and delivery details inside Swaply so there is a record if something goes wrong.
Never send money, gift cards or bank details to another member. Swapping is free — the only cost is your own delivery.
Check before you commit
Read the item description carefully, ask for extra photos, and look at the other person's ratings, completed exchanges and verification badges.
If an item looks too good to be true, or the other person pushes you to move off-platform, stop and report them.
If something goes wrong
Open a dispute from the exchange page. Add photos, tracking information and a clear description so our team can review it quickly.
You can block or report any member at any time from their profile, an item page or a chat.
